Prevent exposure during transfer

Formic acid can cause severe eye and skin injury and irritate the respiratory system. Link raw-material control to leather quality

Monitor grain condition, penetration, fixation, shade, handle and any plant-specific quality indicator. When deviations appear, investigate chemical sequence, temperature, drum loading, timing and measurement before attributing the issue to one raw material.

Qualify the supplier for continuity

Evaluate manufacturing consistency, available capacity, package integrity, lead time, dangerous-goods competence and response to documentation requests. Agree how complaints, retained samples and corrective actions will be handled. A technically suitable grade is useful only when the supplier can deliver it consistently.
